Morpheus8® Treatment is a minimally invasive skin procedure that targets the subdermal layers of skin and tissue. It’s designed to induce production of elastin, collagen, and hyaluronic acid in the skin, leading to improvement of soft tissue laxity and volume loss. It uses radiofrequency energy with micro needling to tighten the skin, and to create more volume and elastic tissue. It may be combined with FaceTite, BodyTite, or performed alone.

Face
The procedure is performed in our office while you are fully awake, and usually it requires only topical anesthesia. Once the area is numb, the Morpheus8 handheld device with 24 micro needle electrodes are placed on the skin. Once deployed into the dermis, these tiny electrodes precisely deliver fractionated thermal energy into the deep layers of the skin where the concentration of collagen is the highest. Fractionated heat zones are created within the dermis, without injury to the outer skin. The process is repeated along the entire area in need of treatment. Radiofrequency heat delivery into the treated areas stimulates dermal remodeling with new elastin, collagen, and hyaluronic acid formation, resulting in visible skin improvement.
Morpheus8 can also be combined with other treatments for even greater effect. Morpheus8 Body takes fractional resurfacing to new depths, delivering the deepest fractional treatments possible by penetrating up to 8 mm into the subdermal tissue. Morpheus8 Body combines the effectiveness of micro needling with radiofrequency energy to remodel the adipose layer, which previously was not achievable. The microneedles penetrate the subdermal layer—up to 8 mm, making it an effective tool to use virtually anywhere on the body—where a pulse of radiofrequency (RF) energy radiates through the adipose layer. How many sessions will I need?
For the best results, 3-5 sessions of Morpheus8 spaced 4-6 weeks apart. This will vary depending on specific concerns.
What is the downtime?
Downtime after Morpheus8 varies from 2 days to 2 weeks. Some redness, bruising, and swelling are to be expected after your treatment, and small scabs will form in the area treated.
How quickly will i see results?
Visible results can be seen within a few days, but typically after three weeks the more noticeable results appear. Improvements continue up to 3-6 months after treatment.
what kind of post procedure care is required?
Patients should moisturize the treatment area and avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use a good, broad-spectrum sunscreen every day. In addition to reducing their future risk of skin cancer, sunscreens also reduce wrinkles and slow the aging process.
When can i put makeup on after treatment?
Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied 1 to 2 days after the treatment. Patients should expect to see micro lesions a few days after treatment and slight redness for up to 1 week depending on treatment parameters.
